Buongiorno a tutti oggi c’è la sesta e ultima tappa del BlogTour “Amore Reale” di Emma Chase, che consiste nell’intervista a questa stupenda scrittrice e la ringrazio anche per aver accettato, se non avete letto ancora i suoi romanzi ve lo consiglio perché riesce a creare delle storie che ti entrano nel cuore e ti fa innamorare dei suoi protagonisti maschili.

Com'è nata la serie "The Royal?

 Mi stavo spremendo le meningi per trovare nuove idee per una storia... Volevo fare qualcosa di diverso da quei mondi di lavoro d'ufficio che erano presenti nelle serie di Tangled e Legal Breifs. Stavo discutendo di avvenimenti correnti, di articoli che c'erano nelle notizie, film e attori, politici e musicisti e... della famiglia reale. E così all'improvviso mi è venuta in mente l'idea di un principe, giusto così, l'intero mondo dei reali e le differenti tematiche e aspetti che fanno parte dell'essere reale sono affiorate nella mia mente. Ho delineato tutti e tre i libri della serie nello stesso giorno.

I personaggi assomigliano a qualcuno che fa parte della tua vita?

 No. Loro sono se stessi. Non ho deciso per il loro aspetto, mi sono apparsi nella mente così come sono. Potrei indicare delle celebrità o delle persone che conosco che assomigliano ai miei personaggi, ma nella mia mente sono degli individui distinti.

Quale canzone sceglieresti come colonna sonora per questo romanzo?

Alcune canzoni sono menzionate nel libro - canzoni che hanno ispirato la storia mentre la stavo scrivendo. Alcune di esse potrebbero essere: Edge of a Broken Heart di Vixen, All I Want di Kodaline, Everything I Do di Brian Adams e Are You Ready (On Your Own) di Distant Cousins.

Quando e perché hai iniziato a scrivere?

Ho iniziato a scrivere quando avevo circa dodici anni. Era qualcosa che amavo, qualcosa che mi faceva stare bene mentre lo facevo. Ho preso lezioni di scrittura creativa durante i miei anni colastici e poi ho spesso di scrivere per un pò quando sono nati i miei figli. Quando sono cresciuti un pò, ho preso lezioni di scrittura presso un college della mia città e ho ripreso a scrivere nuovamente.Questo è successo circa cinque o sei anni fa.

Descrivi il libro in tre parole.

Sexy, divertente, confortante.

Quali aggettivi sceglieresti per desrivere te stessa?

Felice, disorganizzata, rilassata, divertente, creativa.

How was The Royal Series born?

I was brainstorming for new story ideas – I wanted to do something different than the professional business, office-type worlds that were a part of the Tangled and Legal Breifs series. I was discussing current events, articles that were in the news – movies and actors and policians and musicians and…the royal family. And as soon as the idea of a prince popped into my head, just like that, this whole royal world and the different themes and aspects that are part of being royalty  just bloomed in my mind. I had all three books in the series outlined that same day.

Do your characters look like someone of your life?

No – they look like themelves. I don’t plan their looks, they just sort of pop into my head as they are. I can pick out celebrities or even people I know who may resemble my characters, but in my mind they are distinct individuals. 

What song would you choose as a soundtrack for this novel?

A few songs are mentioned in the book itself – songs that inspired the story while I was writing it. A few of them would be: Edge of a Broken Heart by Vixen, All I Want by Kodaline, Everything I Do by Brian Adams and Are You Ready (On Your Own) by Distant Cousins.

When and Why did you start writing?

I started writing when I was about twelve years old. It was something I’d enjoyed, something I felt I was good at. I took creative writing classes all through my school years and then I stopped writing for a bit when my children were born. When they were a little older, I took a writing class at the local college and I started writing regularly again. That was about five or six years ago.

What adjectives would you choose to describe yourself?

Happy, disorganized, laidback, funny, creative.
